Victor was excited to be commisioned to compose a work for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, entitled Water (Dance Of The Ice Crystals) for symphony orchestra which accompanied the entry of China and Poland.

After Transit's successful premiere in November 2007 (called "a Canadian masterpiece..." by the Winnipeg Press) it was featured at the Opera America new opera showcase in Houston last April, and excerpts were performed at The Banff Summer Festival in August. Slated for its American premiere this May it was a casualty of the economic downturn, but we look forward to it's continued success!!

Victor has been commissioned to compose a new concerto for brilliant young violinist Rosemary Siemens rosemaryviolinist.com to be premiered next year, followed by a recording with a major European orchestra. Stay tuned!
